Just finished the largest audiobook I've ever worked on. It involved many, many characters, and some pretty intense dialogue. It's easily one of the most, if not THE most challenging project I've had to work on. I'll be sure to announce it when it comes out. It's an anthology by Castrum Press, called "Future Days", and contains great short stories by an impressive roster of sci-fi authors. It was a challenge and honor to work on it.
The biggest challenge was trying to come up with voices. Normally, this isn't a hard thing for me (anyone that knows me personally can attest to the fact that I'll come up with a weird voice for just about any occasion, even if it's inappropriate), but here, you're trying to create someone with depth, and not just the umpteenth Christopher Walken impression. Even harder was trying to get female voices to sound believable with my voice. Had to watch a few YouTube videos from the greats on how to do it, so we'll see what everyone thinks.
Ok, time to sign off. Stay well, everyone.
